I Do Wedding Cakes

Our cake was everything we wanted! They worked with us to come up with a cake that fit our wedding to perfection. The taste was unreal too! Olivia was a pleasure to deal with!

From reviewing online recommendations we decided to try I Do Wedding Cakes for our wedding cake. Unlike some other cake vendors in the city we really appreciated the time flexibility, design options and flavours that I Do Wedding Cakes offered. They took our slight design tweaks openly and we had the option of two flavours without any additional cost. There was a misunderstanding of the sizes of the tiers and they resolved it quickly. Overall we received a beautiful elegant and very tasty wedding cake that was a big hit at our reception. An extra thank you to Olivia and Tuan who serviced us - all the best and continued success! Everyone told me our cake was so delicious!! It was also extremely pretty! Exactly what I had wanted/ordered. A few stars off for peeling fondant which only I saw because it was peeling towards the headtable, and the fondant was extremely thick, it was still delicious! I'm so glad I went with Olivia and her team. We saved the top layer, hopefully I did a good job of freezing it cuz I'm looking foward to eating it a year later! Eww, I know. But I'll definitely go back for our anniversary cake if the saved layer wasn't wrapped properly. Haha.

I Do! Wedding Cakes did a FANTASTIC job for my cake it was just gorgeous. I only booked the cake about a month before the wedding and they were so accommodating and really made us a beautiful cake - they were reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone!

WOW is all I can say!! Olivia is a cake genius!!! When I first met her and showed her my ideas it was as if she immediately knew what it was that I had in my mind. She drew it all out for us and added so many additional touches. She is so friendly, humble and just absolutely wonderful to work with! When our cake topper from another vendor came in broken and in horrible condition.... she took it and fixed it all up for us for no additional charge....just out of the goodness of her heart and it looked incredible! I can't thank her enough for doing this for us!! Our cake was truly a work of art! Everyone at the wedding was blown away by just how stunning it was.... we barely had the heart to cut it!! It tasted incredible though... her chocolate fondant tastes just like chocolate fudge! I must have tried at least 10 cake vendors before finding I DO Wedding Cakes and none matched up to the taste and quality of Olivia's cakes!

Our cake was exactly what we asked for. We found that by far, the cake not only looked beautiful, it was the best wedding cake we had tasted. We were never "upsold" for anything we didn't need. There were several flavours to sample from and she asked in advanced what we wanted to taste so she could have it ready for when we arrived. There were so many samples of her work in her showroom along with albums of previous client's cakes. As for responsiveness, she did reply after a few days but she later explained that she receives about 500 emails a month and most brides never get back to her after she has responded. I don't blame her when you have brides just "shopping" when they don't even have a date set. We paid our deposit on the spot though she suggested we go away to think about it. We didn't need to think twice about it. The price was right; the cake flavours were amazing and the work she showed us was gorgeous. We didn't worry about our cake not getting to the venue on time or in one piece. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend I Do! Wedding Cakes to anyone who wants great taste, decor and value all rolled into one!
