Justin was the perfect DJ! Leading up to our wedding day Justin was flexible and professional. He asked the right questions and understood our needs and provided a perfect mix of music to set the mood during our whole wedding day. On the day of, he was set up early. When it came time to bust a move on the dance floor he kept the floor packed all night. Right until the last song the floor was full and people were wanting more. He made our night memorable and we would recommend his services to anyone. 10 thumbs up!

It was obvious from our first meeting with Justin that he was organized, professional and seriously passionate about helping us host the exact kind of party that we wanted for our wedding reception. We requested specific songs for the cocktail hour, dinner and dance party and trusted that he would fill in the blanks with related material. We couldn't have been happier with his selections, which covered multiple genres. The dance floor was packed from the moment we finished our first dance until the minute we had to be out of the venue - guests were literally chanting "one more song!" Our reception had a couple of surprises and Justin was so flexible in terms of working around them even though they were sprung on him at the last minute. Choosing our wedding music felt daunting, but Justin made the process easy by asking the right questions, giving expert advice and sensing what was guests were loving on the night of the wedding. I got married on October 21, 2011 in Toronto, and choosing Justin to be our DJ was the best decision I made! Not only did he play what we wanted, and improvise and intuit the crowd when necessary, but he is also a total professional! Always quick responses, showed up early for our meetings, and was wonderful to work with. Say no to cheesy DJ's! Hire Justin!! :)

Wonderful service from start to finish. Was very adaptable and accommodating to music types and schedules. Played a pitch perfect set with all requested songs and kept everyone dancing away all night. We had countless guests commenting how the good the music selections were and how good Justin was. Would highly highly recommend for any occasion.

Justin is an AMAZING DJ! He was incredibly professional from the first day we hired him up until now. Justin has a diverse music selection and he played songs that we wanted to hear! He did an excellent job in incorporating music that my family liked with music that my husband and our friends enjoy listening to. The guests were impressed by him and we were all dancing! Justin provided excellent communication throughout the whole planning process - he is incredibly thorough with his music itinerary and offers great advice and opinions on scheduling and song selections. Justin lived up to the billing and then some. We loved the advertising pitch from the get go and then he followed through with consumate professionalism. He followed our guide to the letter and had everyone raving about his quality at our after-match debrief the next day - from generations Y right up to the Baby Boomers. A+ highly recommended.

Justin is totally professional, incredibly friendly, very very VERY available...and above all, he has a fantastic taste in music!!! My partner and I are great music lovers, and while I looked into having a band for the reception, I'm glad I didn't because we were so impressed with Justin. He is extremely helpful in assisting with music selection, and he definitely made our night one to remember. Not only did Justin play all of the music we wanted to hear, he was able to read the crowd to a tee. He is great with requests and whatever he doesn't have available, he will find on the spot just to keep the party going. Indie Wedding DJ was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for - a talented and attentive professional who would play the music that us and guests wanted to hear, and without all the typical annoying wedding DJ banter. He was great to deal with and very accomodating and everyone had an exceptionally good time. He came highly recommended by one of our other vendors and we'd recommend him to anyone else.

Justin was so amazing! It was like he had known us for years based on the music he played. He knew exactly what we wanted just based on the genres and a few song requests. The dance floor didn't stop all night! His professionalism went above and beyond the call of duty. He came to visit with us before the wedding to make sure he made the correct selections. He responded to our emails promptly and was always very polite. Our guests thought he was a personal friend because he did such a good job and knew just what to play. He was worth every penny!!

We stumbled across an Indie Wedding DJ add on Facebook and we are so happy we ended up going with Justin for the big day. He played all the songs that we asked for as well as mixing in some other great tunes to really keep the party going. I've been to many weddings and Justin is by far the best wedding DJ I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend him!

Justin was AWESOME - I can't say enough great things about him! Not being familiar with his work, we didn't know what to expect but everything from start to finish was incredible! He put together a sample playlist for us, met with us in person to get to know us a little better and make sure we were all on the same page, and was so professional. He took care of the music for our ceremony and played us right through the cocktail hour and reception. He is friendly, prompt, receptive and responsive. He truly cares that you and your guests have a great time (and we did!) I was extremely pleased to have Justin (Indie Wedding DJ) at our wedding. I have to admit, I was initially a bit nervous because I had just found Justin on the internet and hadn't been referred to him by a friend. Further, he didn't reply back immediately to my e-mail (turned out it had gone in his junk mail folder). However, since our first contact on the phone, any worries I had were totally put at ease. He proved himself to be extremely professional at our planning meeting. He arrived on time and guided us through planning the itinerary of the wedding extremely well. He guided us through the process of creating a wedding playlist that would both reflect our unique music taste and would make for an awesome dance party (for example, he advised us when he thought we had too many slow songs, and made sure that our older songs started the night so that our parents' friends would feel comfortable dancing). As this was my first wedding (and hopefully my last), he was a great resource for reminding us of such things like we should have a registry signing song. Further, because our wedding was on a Thursday night he volunteered to reduce the price, and we hadn't even asked him to do that. As for the day of the wedding Justin was extremely prepared and conscientious. He was set up before I even arrived at the venue and tested out our key songs before any guests came. He kept the volume at a great level so that we could all converse at dinner. His microphone was excellent during the speeches and he obviously paid attention because he incorporated some friends' references to songs into our dancing playlist. He had enough songs to last all of dinner, even though we ran about forty minutes behind schedule. As for the dance floor, all of our friends were seriously into it. We received comments like, "It's like this DJ is reading my mind. He knows all the songs I want" and, "I want to book this guy for my party." By the end of the night all the guests on the dance floor were cheering for one more song, but Justin, ever the professional, closed things down when we needed him to despite his adoring fans. Everyone clapped for him at the end. I would without hesitation recommend Justin to my own friends in the future. He really made our wedding special.

Justin was amazing!!! He was so responsive to our song requests and yet at the same time had such a great library of music that so totally matched our own style. We would recommend him to any couple who has good taste in music- current, indie, non top 40, but really also to anyone as he his so flexible and easy to work with, and unlike so many other dj's is not so attached to his own taste in music that he won't play whatever you or your guests want to hear. His rates are great and his professionalism is top notch, but most importantly of all he was a super nice guy and completely lovely to work with. You will not regret hiring him for your wedding. I would, in fact say, that it was one of the best decisions we made!

We could not be happier with Justin's work at our wedding a few weeks ago! He was perfectly professional and really looked out for our interests when our venue was trying to tell him he couldn't play music during our cocktail hour; Justin does what he says he's going to do! Besides being trustworthy, you can tell that he loves what he does, and this really reflects on your level of fun the night of the wedding. I had a broken foot, but Justin still kept me hopping around the dance floor all night. Hire Justin-- he's amazing!

From start to finish, Justin was a fanastic person to work with. He was well organized, quick to respond to any e-mails, and more than willing to collaborate in choosing a mix of songs that we liked and thought would make our guests want to get up and dance. His willingness to listen to us and more than come through in delivering what we were looking for was much appreciated. After the wedding, we had a wide range of people tell us how much they enjoyed the music that our dj played. Overall, we couldn't have had a more positive experience in working with a dj.

Justin (Indie Wedding DJ) was totally worth the money and helped take a lot of the stress out of our wedding day by proving us with excellent communication, some great suggestions and tools to help make things easier. His Wedding Selection Music form was an extremely helpful two-way resource. At the actual wedding he was able to read the crowd well; changing songs when necessary, adding selections that fit well with songs we wanted requested, and was happy to accommodate requests from our guests.

Justin was easy to contact, responded to questions quickly, and played perfect music! I had a mixed crowd and choose according to everyone's taste. He had any song that was requested and created an amazing play list for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner each individually. My guests complimented on the great music and busy dance floor.
