Le Méridien King Edward

This venue has weddings perfected! The service, food & staff were exceptional, not to mention the venue, simply stunning! I would highly recommend this venue to everyone.

Both our Ceremony & Reception were in the Vanity Fair Ballroom at the King Edward! I must tell you they were extremely pleasant & efficient! I could not have been happier with how the whole wedding day turned out! We worked specifically with Tina and she was very helpful! She was extremely organized, efficient and helped us with everything we needed. We started with our ceremony at 2PM in the ballroom, then all our guests when to the court on the second floor for an extensive cocktail reception. As the guests enjoyed the cocktail buffet and reception, the hotel flipped the ballroom to the gorgeous space we enjoyed all night! The staff was extremely attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and every detail was in place! Our wedding was perfect and the King Eddy had a BIG part in making our dreams come true!

The staff at the King Edward were absolutely amazing! Tina (my wedding liason) was quick to respond to my emails/phone calls and was so helpful when it came time to choose the menu. She was extremely organized, and helped me connect with vendors that were of superior quality. The banquet hall that we used was the Vanity Fair ballroom. It is a beautiful space with soaring arches and majestic columns. The palm court, where we held the cocktail hour was large enough to hold all of our guests comfortably. The rooms that were provided to us for our wedding night was large, comfortable, and spacious, perfect for storing our wedding gifts! The banquet staff on the day of the wedding were curteous and very professional. In fact, my guests could not stop talking about how polite/pleasant/cheerful the staff were during the cocktail reception. The banquet manager made sure that everyone got their requested meal, and that my special needs guests (ie. those with allergies) were taken care of. As an example of his commitment to service, he actually took the time out of his busy schedule to wish us a happy marriage as we checked out of the hotel the day after the wedding! Overall, I could not have been more thrilled with our experience with King Edward Hotel and its staff.

We hosted our reception in the Sovereign Ballroom in June of 2011. My husband is Italian and his family was nervous about us choosing a non Italian venue as food is very important. The King Edward worked with us to customize the menu to add Italian elements (like an second course risotto, panna cotta and sorbet for dessert). After the tasting dinner, all fears were alleviated! The food was incredible - fresh, excellently prepared and beautiful presentation. On the day of the wedding the service and presentation did not disappoint, it was great. We were greeted warmly at the lobby and from there we were treated like a King and Queen! The team set up the room and our tables exactly as I wished and took great care in presenting our cake. The servers made sure no one's wine glass went empty. We had an amazing time - I can't recommend the King Eddie enough!
