Tamin' Thunder

Very unimpressed with this band. We had seen them perform a number of times before booking them for our big day and thought they were fantastic. They started set up late, started playing late, and invited other guests to our wedding without first asking our permission (drinking and eating our food). When the band manager was asked about these guests (who were being rude to the groom no less) the band manager got loud and stopped the band from playing. It's unfortunate it ended the way it did or we probably would have used them for future events, not to mention that I host a number of events for work and would have recommended them for that, but never will I now. At the beginning of their performance our guests were all impressed with them but then heard the band manager giving the groom a hard time about the guests (in the venue room) so we have a large room full of people who can back up this review. Oh not to mention they tried to raise the price once they found out it was a Friday wedding and since the band works they would need to take time off to set up. We compromised with them by letting them set up during dinner (which, as I mentioned, they were late on doing). We had to ask for the contract repeatedly. Took a long time to get back to us... kept stating family issues. As it was getting closer to the wedding we didn't want to make waves so we put up with more then we usually would have. Very disappointed when this was one of the parts I was most looking for on our day.
